Goji production in China
In recent years, goji (Lycium barbarum) has been introduced to many regions due to increased domestic and international market. Goji production provinces and regions include Ningxia, Hei Bei, Xin Jiang, Inner Mongolia. Other provinces such as Qing Hai and Gan Su also have certain acreage for grow goji, but the total production is negligible compared with the major goji growing area. Again, Tibet is not even mentioned in 2002 statistics by Ministry of Agriculture of China.
